When you first started gaming? I've been playing video games ever since I was a small child with the Game Boy. I first started competitive gaming at the age of 14 with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. first tournament or competition? My first competition was a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament back in 2008 held on the upper floor of a pizza shop in San Diego. I had found it online through this old community site called All is Brawl and went with some friends. People there were so much better than my 14 year old mind could process so I kept coming back trying to improve and in doing so I fell in love with the community. why you got into gaming? I've always been a competitive person. I played a lot of sports growing up until I broke my leg badly in a soccer accident. It took years before I could run on it again, so I spent a lot of time playing video games. I would play to be the best of my friends and then start looking outwards to see who else I could compete against. That thrill of competition is what hooked me into the tournament scene and why I continue to practice and improve. favorite game? My favorite game franchise is Super Smash Bros, with Smash 4 being my favorite among them. Not counting the game I compete in, my favorite games are The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Super Mario Sunshine. hobbies outside of gaming? Besides gaming I enjoy running and hiking. I love traveling and visiting new places. Currently however I'm in university finishing my biology degree, so class and gaming take up most of my free time. dream job? It would be my dream to compete for as long as possible and then transition to the production side of large esport events. I would like to be able to continue traveling and remain immersed in the community I love.
